Small Business Loses $13,000 in Stolen Tools, Redmond Police Search for Suspect

A cargo trailer containing $13,000 worth of tools was stolen from the 3700 block of Cascade Vista Drive in Redmond on Sunday. The owner of the trailer told NewsChannel 21 that his insurance will not cover the theft, forcing his small business to bear the loss and purchase new tools. He is taking a week off to figure out how to proceed.

Despite canvassing the neighborhood for surveillance footage, the police have not been able to identify a suspect at this time. Anyone with information regarding the stolen trailer is urged to contact the Redmond Police through the non-emergency dispatch number at 541-693-6911, referencing Case No. 2024-11264.
