Mercyhurst Prep Baseball Secures Season Sweep with Thrilling Win, while District 10 Boys Tennis Championship Results are Announced

On Monday, Mercyhurst Prep baseball secured a season sweep of Fairview with a thrilling 6-3 victory. The team heard from Hunter Krahe, who pitched 5 2/3 innings, Josh Majczyk, who launched a three-run home run, and coach Randy Durkoske after the win. Meanwhile in other sports news from Monday, the District 10 boys tennis championship results were announced at Westwood Racquet Club. In the Class 2A singles tournament, the top seed Jonah Ng from Cathedral Prep emerged victorious against No. 2 Gavin Ferretti with a score of 6-1, 6-0. In the Class 3A singles tournament, No. 1 John Sinnott from Erie High defeated Gridley Wright from McDowell with a score of 6-1, 6-3.
