Latin American Music Awards: Thalia, Becky G and Feid on Stage for Historical Spanish Language Ceremony
Thalia was one of the stars at the Latin American Music Awards, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event was opened by her with a remix of “Te Va a Doler,” a song from her upcoming album A Mucha Honra. The electronic treatment by DJ Deorro gave the song a modern twist while still retaining its original flavor.
Thalia’s performance on stage was lively and energetic, with over a dozen dancers joining her in metallic outfits. She expressed her joy at being surrounded by familiar faces and the beautiful blend of cultures present at the event. She described “Te Va a Doler” as a song that combines both regional and modern elements, reflecting her musical style while incorporating the new Mexican regional sound.
The awards ceremony featured Feid and Peso Pluma as the top nominees of the night, each receiving 12 nominations. Other artists with multiple nominations included Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Karol G, Shakira, Eslabon Armado, and Fuerza Regida.
Thalia co-hosted the awards ceremony alongside Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce. This marked the first time that a major U.S. awards show had been presented in both English and Spanish, making it an historic event for Latin American music lovers around the world.
