On Tuesday, the United States Senate passed a comprehensive bill worth US$95 billion that includes a military aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The legislation also contains a provision that could potentially ban TikTok in the US if it fails to separate from its Chinese parent company, ByteDance. The bill was approved by 79 votes in favor and 18 against and is now awaiting President Joe Biden’s signature.

President Biden is expected to sign the bill as soon as it reaches his desk and begin the process of sending new weapons to Ukraine. The military aid package includes US$61 billion for Ukraine, US$26 billion for Israel, and US$8 billion for Taiwan. The aid is intended to support these countries as they face various threats and conflicts in their respective regions.
