The 2024 World’s Strongest Man competition has come to a close, with Tom Stoltman once again claiming the title of “World’s Strongest Man” for the third time in four years. Stoltman’s victory was almost wire-to-wire in the finals, as he sealed his win on Sunday by dominating in his signature event, the Atlas Stones. This marked his second consecutive victory over defending champion Mitchell Hooper and placed him just one point away from tying the all-time record for most titles held by Bill Kazmaeir.

Stoltman, who is 29 years old, consistently placed no lower than third in any of the six events held over the two-day finals. He tied for the most points in the Max Axle event and Keg Toss on day one of competition, giving him an early lead that he maintained throughout the rest of the events. Luke Stoltman, Tom’s brother and a competitor in Europe’s Strongest Man competition, finished in ninth place shortly after winning Europe’s title.
