Tom Stoltman Secures 3rd Title by Victorious Win Against Mitchell Hooper

Unbeatable Stoltman Snatches World’s Strongest Man Title for Third Year in a Row

Tom Stoltman has once again been crowned the World’s Strongest Man. This is the third time in the past four years that he has claimed the title, and he did so by besting Canada’s Mitchell Hooper and the United States’ Evan Singleton. Stoltman carried a three-point lead into Saturday and extended his advantage with strong performances in the Conan’s Wheel, Terrain Deadlift, and Atlas Stones events. He finished first in all three events, earning 10 points each for a total of 30 points.

Hooper finished second with 47.5 points, just behind Stoltman. He had a solid day, finishing second in the Conan’s Wheel (821 degrees) and tying for second in the Terrain Deadlift (eight reps). However, he lost ground on Stoltman during the Atlas Stones event, where he failed to score any points despite putting up a strong effort.

Singleton finished third with 36 points, just above Mathew Ragg from Canada who finished fourth with 35.5 points. Singleton had a decent day, finishing fifth in the Conan’s Wheel (748 degrees), but struggled on both the Terrain Deadlift and Atlas Stones events where he failed to score any points.

Overall standings were as follows: Tom Stoltman with 53 points, Mitchell Hooper with 47.5 points, Evan Singleton with 36 points, Mathew Ragg from Canada with 35.5 points, Tristain Hoath from Canada with 33.5 points, Wesley Derwinsky from Canada with 31
