Nicklaus Children’s Health System has recently achieved an upgraded AA- bond rating with a Stable outlook from Fitch Ratings and a reaffirmed A rating with an improved Positive outlook from Standard and Poor’s. This reflects the organization’s commitment to enhancing pediatric care leadership in the region, according to Matthew A. Love, President and CEO. Nicklaus Children’s Health System is the parent organization of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, the only licensed specialty hospital exclusively for children in South Florida. Established in 1950 by Variety Clubs International, the 307-bed nonprofit hospital is known for its excellence in pediatric medicine, with many programs ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report.
