Oakland Raiders Consider Moving Training Camp to Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Southern California

NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders Eye Move to Costa Mesa for 2024 Training Camp: City Council to Discuss Agreement

The NFL franchise, the Las Vegas Raiders, is considering a move for their 2024 training camp. Currently, the team uses their Henderson practice facility as their camp site. However, they are now in discussions with the city of Costa Mesa about using the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa for this summer’s camp.

Costa Mesa’s City Council is set to discuss the possibility of entering a one-year agreement with the Raiders today. If approved, the team would pay $165,000 in rent to Costa Mesa as part of the agreement. Additionally, the Raiders would pay $600,000 for field improvements at the sports complex. Practices at the camp would be open to the public.

Since moving to Las Vegas in 2020, the Raiders have used their Henderson practice facility as their training camp site. If they decide to move to Costa Mesa for their 2024 camp, they would join four other NFL teams training within 100 miles of one another in Southern California.
