King Abdullah of Jordan: “No Iran-Israel War Will Happen in Jordan”

King Abdullah II of Jordan Defends Hashemite Kingdom from Iranian Attack on Israel

King Abdullah II of Jordan played a crucial role in defending the Hashemite Kingdom from an Iranian attack on Israel on April 14. As commander-in-chief of the armed forces, he emphasized that Jordan would not allow its territory to be used as a battleground between Israel and Iran. The monarch’s main priority was to protect the sovereignty and security of the state, and the actions taken were aimed at ensuring the safety of Jordanian citizens.

In preparation for the attack, Jordan closed its airspace and warned of retaliatory measures against any violation of its borders. The Jordanian Air Force successfully destroyed several Iranian drones during the conflict. While reports have circulated about an alliance called Middle East NATO involving countries such as the US, UK, France, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and UAE, official representatives from Arab nations have denied these claims.
