NBC Sports reports that the Eagles have released four players

Eagles Complete NFL Draft and Make Roster Moves Ahead of Upcoming Minicamp

The Philadelphia Eagles recently completed the NFL Draft in Detroit, selecting nine new players to join their team. In addition to the draft picks, the team will also be signing some undrafted players to fill out the roster. To make room for these newcomers, the Eagles made some roster moves on Monday.

According to the NFL’s daily transaction report, the Eagles waived four players: defensive tackle Noah Elliss, wide receiver Griffin Hebert, defensive back Tiawan Mullen, and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith. Additionally, the team officially announced the signing of tackle Mekhi Becton.

Out of the four players waived, Smith is the only one with regular season experience, having appeared in 10 games and made two starts for the Cardinals in 2022. Although he has yet to play for the Eagles, his previous experience in the league could be valuable.

The Eagles are set to host their rookie minicamp this weekend, providing the first opportunity for the coaching staff to work with this year’s rookie class. It is possible that more roster moves will be made following the minicamp as the team assesses the new additions to the roster.
