The Ultimate Pokémon Showdown: World Championships Qualifiers in London

This weekend, Pokémon enthusiasts from around the world will gather at ExCeL London for three days of exciting battles in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, and Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE with the aim of qualifying for this year’s Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu. The championships will be live-streamed on Twitch, featuring commentators like Alex Dao, Chip Richey, Ethan Hegyi, Freya Pearce, and Mike Ellis.

The schedule for the event is as follows: on Friday, April 5th, from 10:00 to 23:00 Italian time, on Saturday, April 6th, from 10:00 to 23:00 Italian time, and on Sunday, April 7th, with the finals beginning at 12 pm ET on Twitch.tv/Pokemon for the Pokémon TCG. For the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games competition, streaming will take place on Friday from 10:00 to 21:00 Italian time; on Saturday from 15:30 to midnight CEST; and Sunday with finals starting at 4 pm ET on Twitch.tv/Pokemon. The Pokémon GO competition will also be live-streamed on Twitch with Leonard König as a commentator. The schedule for this competition is also from Friday to Sunday from noon to midnight CEST. Finally, Pokémon UNITE will be live-streamed on Twitch with Evan Hashimoto as a commentator. On Friday it will run from noon to midnight CEST; Saturday from noon until midnight CEST there are quarter-finals leading up to a grand final which takes place at noon CEST.
