With the Paris Olympics just under 100 days away, the IOC is gearing up to implement their AI strategy, which includes safeguarding athletes from online harassment and enhancing the broadcasting experience for viewers at home.
The IOC’s plans to use artificial intelligence also extend to security measures for the Paris games. A video surveillance system featuring AI-powered cameras will be used to identify potential security risks such as abandoned packages or large crowd movements.
