Negotiations began to change at Wolt

Wolt Adapts Organizational Structure to Boost Efficiency in Amid Financial Challenges

Wolt, a food delivery company operating in 27 countries with over 10,000 employees, is currently undergoing negotiations to renew its organizational structure. The purpose of these negotiations is to ensure operational efficiency and may involve centralizing some personnel from country teams into global teams and bringing functions closer to the headquarters in Helsinki.

Since 2022, Wolt has been part of American company Doordash, which is the largest food delivery company in the United States. However, Doordash’s stock price experienced a more than 13 percent decrease on Wall Street due to weakened consumer demand affecting sales at the beginning of the year. The outcome was lower than expected, leading to the need for change negotiations within Wolt.

Despite these challenges, Wolt remains committed to its operations and continues to expand its reach across various countries. With its headquarters in Helsinki, Wolt is focused on adapting to market demands and evolving its strategies to meet the needs of customers and employees alike.
