Apple is set to release new iPad Pro models with OLED displays in early May, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The company is also expanding the iPad Air lineup by introducing a model with a 12.9-inch display for the first time.
Gurman’s sources suggest that the new iPad Pro models will come equipped with Apple’s M3 chip, introducing a new generation of internal processors that promise enhanced performance and energy efficiency. Additionally, a larger trackpad is expected to be included in the update to the Magic Keyboard, offering users a more comfortable and productive experience. In contrast, the iPad Air is rumored to feature the previous generation M2 chip, showcasing Apple’s commitment to providing high performance even in its more accessible devices. The new Air will be available in two display sizes: the standard 10.9-inch version and a larger 12.9-inch variant.
