Mintz Levin Expands Its Life Sciences Capabilities with the Acquisition of Top Patent Attorney Siegmund Gutman

Mintz Levin has recently acquired Siegmund “Sige” Gutman, who previously served as the chair of Proskauer Rose’s life science patent practice. This move is part of a larger expansion for Mintz Levin in the life sciences sector in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York.

Gutman will be taking on the roles of chair of life sciences litigation and co-chair of the firm’s patent litigation group. This addition is part of a two-partner, 10-attorney move that is aimed at enhancing Mintz Levin’s capabilities in the life sciences field.

Along with Gutman, eight other attorneys will also be joining Mintz Levin to strengthen its presence in these key cities. The firm is excited to welcome Gutman and his team to help further establish itself as a leader in life sciences law in multiple locations across the country.
