Iraqi Prime Minister Leads Meeting to Address Damage Caused by Recent Rain Wave

On Saturday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani led a meeting to discuss the impact of the recent rain wave. In attendance were officials from various ministries, including the Ministers of Interior and Trade, the Mayor of Baghdad, the General Coordinator for Governorate Affairs, the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, and other officials.

The purpose of the meeting was to assess the damage caused by the rain wave and develop an effective plan to contain and address it. The media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister released a statement detailing how al-Sudani was briefed on the extensive effects of the recent rains, particularly on service levels and agricultural lands.
