Denver artist R. Alan Brooks teaches graphic novel writing at Regis University’s MFA program and Lighthouse Writers Workshop, where he is also a board member. His previous works include “The Burning Metronome” and “Anguish Garden,” both featuring diverse characters and storylines. On the other hand, Cori Redford, who was born in Hawaii, has lived in various places before settling in Golden for high school in the late 80s and later moving to Denver for college at Metro and The Art Institute of Colorado. She previously worked in non-art jobs before pursuing her passion for art. Myra, who has been in a coma for 30 years, has recently formed a new friendship with her young neighbor, Ossie.
