French Confederation of Bakers and Pastry Chefs Sets a New World Record in Paris with 461-Foot-Long Baguette

In Suresnes, located west of Paris, a team of 18 skilled bakers recently collaborated to set a new record in the world of bread-making. These talented individuals, who were members of the French Confederation of Bakers and Pastry Chefs, came together at the Suresnes Baguette Show to create an impressive baguette that was 461 feet long. This impressive creation was about 235 times longer than the average French baguette typically seen.

The previous record for the longest baguette was held by a 435-foot, 1-inch loaf of French bread that was baked in Italy in 2019. However, this team of bakers managed to surpass this record with their remarkable achievement. An adjudicator from Guinness World Records was present at the show to examine the baguette and officially confirm its status as the new record holder.

This unique event brought together skilled bakers from different parts of France to showcase their baking talents and achieve a remarkable feat in bread-making history. The creation of this massive baguette required teamwork, precision, and dedication from all 18 bakers involved. The attendees of the show were able to witness this incredible display of baking prowess and also got to enjoy the delicious Nutella-covered baguette at the end of the event.
