Deer Park High School Welcomes New Members to Math and Science Honor Societies

Excellence in Math and Science: Deer Park High School Inducts New Honor Society Members

At the annual induction ceremony for Deer Park High School’s Math and Science Honor Societies, 40 new Math Honor Society members and 32 new Science Honor Society members were welcomed into the fold. During the event, advisers Edward Libretto and Cassidy Velle greeted the scholars while Kaleigh Pizzirusso delivered a keynote speech.

The new inductees were addressed by Math Honor Society President Muhsin Maqsood, who emphasized their dedication to their studies and passion for math and science. He encouraged them to explore the natural world through their subjects and engage in discussions with peers who share their curiosity.

Science National Honor Society President Calvin Nguyen praised the new members for their academic excellence and enthusiasm towards science. He expressed confidence in their potential to become future leaders in the field of science not only at Deer Park High School but also on a global scale. The induction ceremony highlighted the hard work and commitment of these students to excel academically and pursue their passions in math and science.
