Museum of Science and Industry Security Search for Suspected Sexual Abuser: A Closer Look at the Incident and Its Implications

A man in his 30s with curly light brown hair, a beard, and a neck tattoo of a roaring lion is being sought by Chicago police after he allegedly sexually abused a 10-year-old girl at the Museum of Science and Industry. The incident occurred when the man offered to help the girl after she was separated from her group at the museum, located at 5700 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive.

The suspect is described as being between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-3, weighing about 170 pounds with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light blue shirt, a blue vest, blue jeans, and black gym shoes. The girl kicked him after he followed her into a bathroom stall on the second floor and sexually abused her before leaving.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect to contact detectives at 312-492-3810. The incident has raised concerns about safety and security at the museum, prompting increased vigilance when visiting public places with children.
