Celebrating Dia del Niño: A Cultural Event for Families at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science

On April 28, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will host Dia del Niño, a celebration of Children’s Day in Mexico. This national holiday is a time to honor the joy, innocence, and fun that children bring. The event will feature music, dance, and various activities for all to enjoy.

Rachel Garcia, the Mexican Cultural Center Executive Director, emphasizes the special place children hold in Latino and Mexican culture. She encourages everyone to come out and celebrate this day with their families and friends.

The event will take place at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. It is a day filled with celebratory energy, excitement, and community engagement for people of all ages to enjoy. Admission to Dia del Niño is free, with the added bonus of half off admission to the “Orcas” exhibit and Planetarium shows.
