Get Ready for the Thrills: The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is Set to Take Over the Cricket Scene

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to feature the top 10 women’s cricket teams from around the world competing for the title. The tournament will consist of two groups, with India and Pakistan in Group A alongside six-time winners Australia, New Zealand, and Qualifier 1. Group B will feature hosts Bangladesh, England, South Africa, the West Indies, and Qualifier 2.

The qualifiers for the tournament will emerge from the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The top two teams from this event will secure the final spots in the main event on May 7th. Group A matches will be held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet while Group B matches will take place at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on May 17th and 18th. The final match is set to take place at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on October 20th. The tournament kicks off with last edition’s runners-up South Africa facing England in the opening match on October 3rd with India starting their campaign against New Zealand on October 4th and facing Australia on October 13th. A total of 23 matches will be played over the course of this exciting tournament which promises to be one of thrilling competition and nail biting finishes.
