Bartlesville High baseball wrapped up its District season in style, sweeping Muskogee with a strong performance on Tuesday night at Rigdon Field. The team’s seniors were given a memorable night as they secured a seventh-place finish in 6A-District 3.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Bartlesville took control of the game with three runs, establishing a 3-0 lead that they maintained until the end. A string of six consecutive batters reaching base, five of them through singles, allowed Bartlesville to score first. Brett Eaves’ base hit drove in Brenden Asher to kickstart the scoring, with help from a Muskogee error.

Brenden Asher delivered an outstanding performance in his final pitching appearance at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium as a Bruin. He pitched a complete seven innings, allowing only one unearned run while working around seven hits. Asher showcased his skills by striking out five of the seven batters in the last two innings, including a crucial strikeout to end the game.
