Women’s Elite Racers in High Stakes Showdown for World Cup Series Advancement

In the first race of the 2024 World Cup series, Elite racers are now in a race against time to determine who will advance to the semi-finals. The qualifying round has come to an end, and the results are in for the Elite Women’s division.

Tahnee Seagrave took top honors with a strong performance coming out of the off-season. She finished nearly two seconds ahead of second-place finisher Nina Hoffmann, showing her determination to secure another elite win at Fort William.

Nina Hoffmann had a consistent run throughout the session, keeping pace with Tahnee until split four where she lost around one second to the top qualifier. Anna Newkirk put on an impressive performance, making gains in the bottom sectors and finishing third in qualifying.

Vali Höll, despite being last year’s overall winner and current World Champion, struggled to keep up with the pace set by Tahnee and dropped to fifth place in the standings. However, she did briefly take the lead during sector two before losing over five seconds in split three through upper woods.

Fans eagerly await live timing results for Elite Men’s division as they continue to come in from qualifying round of 2024 World Cup series.
