Giants Catcher Suffers Blurry Vision, Substitution in Middle of Game
On Friday, the Giants faced off against the Philadelphia Phillies. In the second inning of the game, catcher Patrick Bailey was forced to leave due to blurry vision. The cause of the issue remains unclear and Bailey is currently undergoing evaluation.
Following Bailey’s departure, veteran catcher Tom Murphy was substituted into the lineup. Before exiting, Bailey had walked and scored a run in his only plate appearance of the game. The Giants are closely monitoring Bailey’s condition as they wait for more information on his status.
