Uniting in Celebration: The Troy Pike Center for Technology Hosts Career Events for High School Students”.

The Troy Pike Center for Technology recently hosted two events to celebrate and educate high school students about their future career paths. First, the technology center held a Careers Are Fun Day, which brought together students from Charles Henderson High School, Goshen High School, and Pike County High School. The event featured two sessions tailored to students in grades 10-12, with Jamie Rich, assistant principal at the technology center, explaining that the goal was to introduce students to a variety of career options and encourage bonding among students from different high schools.

In addition to Careers Are Fun Day, the TPCT also held a Senior Career Signing Day for students who will be entering the military or starting employment or an apprenticeship at local businesses and industries. This event allowed students to celebrate their future endeavors and mark the next step in their career journeys. It was a day of excitement, pride, and camaraderie as students from different schools came together to support their peers in their chosen paths.
