Tulsa World Recognizes Top High School Athletes for Winter, Spring Sports and Specialty Awards
In recent news, the Tulsa World is once again recognizing the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area. The World’s All-State boys and girls basketball will be announced on Sunday. The finalists for winter sports will be revealed throughout the week, with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, boys and girls wrestling on Thursday, boys basketball on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday.
Last fall, athlete of the year finalists in football, cross country, volleyball, and softball were announced. This season’s 2023-24 All-World honors will cover football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country.
The finalists for spring sports will be unveiled in early June alongside winners for specialty awards such as best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes, and a lifetime achievement award recipient. The athletes of the year in each sport will be announced at the eighth annual All-World Awards presented by Bill Knight Automotive on Thursday, June 20 at Legacy Hall in Cox Business Convention Center.
