Puyallup Tribal Enterprises Invests in Skip Technology

Skip Technologies Receives Investment from Puyallup Tribal Enterprises for Groundbreaking Liquid Battery Technology

Skip Technologies, a company located in Portland, Oregon, is focused on creating a unique liquid battery for large-scale energy storage that lasts from 4 to over 100 hours. Recently, the company received an investment from Puyallup Tribal Enterprises, although the exact amount of the deal was not disclosed. This funding will be used to expand operations and continue developing the cutting-edge battery technology.

Under CEO Brennan Gantner’s leadership, Skip Technologies has developed a new type of battery that utilizes bromine and hydrogen instead of traditional lithium. This design is innovative because it has no moving parts and is fully recyclable. By using cost-effective bromine and allowing hydrogen to evaporate if there is a leakage issue, this battery demonstrates an environmentally conscious approach.

In a statement about the investment, CEO Gantner expressed excitement about partnering with Puyallup Tribal Enterprises. He emphasized their shared vision of protecting the environment, creating high-quality local jobs, and establishing a successful domestic manufacturing business. Gantner noted that having Puyallup Tribal Enterprises as a lead financial investor was an honor and looked forward to utilizing their manufacturing capacity to further develop his company’s innovative liquid battery technology.

Overall, Skip Technologies is positioned for growth with this recent investment in its liquid battery technology development.
