AMC Theatres Welcomes Stephanie Tierney, Former Fandango Veteran, to New Distribution Business

New Frontiers for the Movie Theater Industry: AMC Theatres Taps Stephanie Tierney as Vice President of Distribution and Kevin Arnold as VP of Programming Promotions & Partnerships

Stephanie Tierney has been appointed as Vice President of distribution at AMC Theatres, where she will collaborate with the music industry to create unique projects and develop customized distribution strategies and marketing campaigns. This appointment comes after the impressive success of events such as Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.

Prior to her new role, Tierney worked at Fandango leading the integrated marketing team, where she gained valuable experience in partner marketing for various brands. Her expertise in this area will be a valuable asset in her new role at AMC Theatres.

Meanwhile, Kevin Arnold has been promoted to Vice President of programming promotions & partnerships for AMC’s distribution venture. Alongside Nikkole Denson-Randolph, he will work to bring more leading music artists to the big screen through AMC Theatres Distribution.

Last year, AMC Theatres disrupted the Hollywood studio system by distributing films like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance. These ventures grossed over $261.6 million and $43.9 million respectively, opening doors for movie theater operators to take on the role of a distributor.

AMC’s Chief Content Officer, Elizabeth Frank, expressed excitement about the future of AMC Theatres Distribution with Tierney and Denson-Randolph leading the way. Their past success has paved the way for an exciting new business venture for AMC.

In conclusion, Tierney and Arnold’s appointments signify a shift in the movie theater industry towards more innovative ways of engaging with fans and bringing entertainment to them on bigger screens.
