Chasing Triathlon Glory: The 2024 World Triathlon Championship Series Schedule Adjusted Due to Last-Minute Cancellations

The 2024 World Triathlon Championship Series and Mixed Relay Series Montreal events have been cancelled, leaving the World Triathlon Para Series Montreal as the only remaining event in Montreal. However, the World Triathlon Cup Wehai, originally scheduled for 27 September, has been upgraded to a WTCS event due to China Triathlon Sports Association stepping up as hosts.

Due to last-minute cancellations of WTCS Abu Dhabi in March 2024, the ranking points for the 2024 World Triathlon Championship Series will be awarded at four remaining events: WTCS Yokohama, WTCS Cagliari, WTCS Hamburg, and WTCS Weihai. Points will also be granted at Continental Championships and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The athletes with highest points accumulated from three of these six events plus Championship Finals will be crowned the 2024 World Triathlon Champions.

– July 13th-14th: World Triathlon Championship Series Hamburg

– September 27th: World Triathlon Championship Series Weihai
