Betty la Fea: The Story Continues Returns to Prime Video, 20 Years Later in Over 240 Countries

Amazon’s Prime Video is set to launch Betty la Fea, the Story Continues, the sequel to the popular Colombian telenovela that inspired ABC’s Ugly Betty. The series will debut on July 19 in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The original show, created by Fernando Gaitán, has been a global success, airing in 180 countries and being dubbed into 15 languages. It was also adapted in 28 territories, including India, South Africa, and the U.S.

The new series will see Ana María Orozco reprising her role as Betty, alongside Jorge Enrique Abello and other returning cast members such as Julián Arango, Natalia Ramírez, and more. Joining the cast for Betty la Fea are Rodrigo Candamil, Juanita Molin, Zharick León, and Sebastián Osorio. The series follows Beatriz Pinzón Solano 20 years after the original show as she navigates rebuilding her relationship with her daughter Mila and confronts challenges in her relationship with Armando.
