2024 IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup Series to Conclude in Arco, Italy with Record-Breaking Competition
The Paraclimbing World Cup series is set to conclude in Arco, Italy on September 27 and 28 with the third IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup. This event will take place in the newly renovated national training center for Team Italy, which has undergone extensive renovations over the past year. The venue is expected to be completed by this summer and will host athletes and teams year-round with indoor walls for Boulder, Lead, and Speed climbing.
The upcoming season follows a record-breaking year in 2023, where the IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships in Bern, Switzerland saw a record number of participants from around the world. A total of 202 athletes from 25 countries competed in the event, marking the highest number of participants ever.
The final event of the season promises to be an exciting conclusion to the 2024 season, with top athletes competing on newly renovated and state-of-the-art climbing walls. The competition will showcase the talent and dedication of paraclimbers from around the world as they strive to be crowned champions in their respective disciplines.
