Valhalla PGA Championship: Tiger Woods Leads Star-Studded Field with 103 Other World Class Golfers

The upcoming 106th PGA Championship at Valhalla promises to be a thrilling event, with Tiger Woods and the world’s top 103 ranked golfers set to take part. Despite suffering severe leg injuries in a car crash last year, Woods has shown signs of improvement with a 60th place finish at the Masters and plans to play more tournaments leading up to the US and British Opens. He has been invited to participate in the tournament as a special exemption.

The PGA field comprises of 33 major winners, including 16 former PGA Championship winners, and two spots are still open for winners of this week’s PGA Tour events. Defending champion Brooks Koepka will also be competing, along with other notable players such as Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Phil Mickelson and Talor Gooch.

Top-ranked Scottie Scheffler, who won the Masters last month, will be making an appearance at Valhalla despite skipping this week’s PGA Tour event to be with his wife as they await the birth of their child. The field also includes 21 club professionals and 20 qualifiers. Michael Block, who finished an impressive 15th last year, will also be returning to compete in this year’s championship at Valhalla.
