Who holds the title of the world’s youngest billionaire?

The World’s Youngest Billionaires: Clemente Del Vecchio and Livia Voigt Make Forbes’ List for 2024

The world’s youngest billionaires have been unveiled in Forbes’ World’s Billionaires List for 2024, which includes a total of 2,781 names. Among these young tycoons are Clemente Del Vecchio and Livia Voigt, both aged just 19.

Del Vecchio inherited his wealth from his father, Leonardo Del Vecchio, who founded EssilorLuxottica, the world’s largest producer and retailer of glasses and frames. Clemente owns a 12.5% stake in Delfin, a holding company based in Luxembourg, which he inherited from his father’s passing in 2022. Delfin also has shares in various large companies, including banks. After being the youngest billionaire at 18, Clemente lost the title to Voigt.

Voigt is the main shareholder of WEG Industries, a company in Brazil known for manufacturing electric motors, founded by her grandfather, Werner Ricardo Voigt, in 1961. Although she is currently studying and does not have an active role in the company, Voigt is still considered one of the world’s youngest billionaires.

Forbes reports that there are a total of 25 billionaires on the list who are under the age of 33 and have a combined net worth of $110 billion. Most of these young tycoons inherited their wealth or did not create it themselves except for a few older than 30. More information about the youngest billionaires on Forbes’ list can be found on their official website along with details about their net worth calculation methodology.
