Sierra Vista Students Achieve Victory at Science Olympiad

Sierra Vista Middle School Takes Home State Science Olympiad Championship Title for Third Year in a Row

For the third consecutive year, the students from Sierra Vista Middle School have emerged victorious in the state Science Olympiad Championship Tournament. The tournament, which took place in April at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, gathered student teams from all over the state to compete in various science, technology, and engineering events.

The high school division of the tournament was particularly competitive, with teams from Northwood and University high schools claiming second and third place respectively. However, it was the Sierra Vista team that stood out once again. Comprised of 19 talented students, they demonstrated their exceptional skills and dedication to scientific pursuits.

This impressive win means that they will now move on to compete in the Science Olympiad National Tournament at Michigan State University later this month. Their achievement is a remarkable testament to their commitment to excellence in the fields of science and technology, as well as their school’s unwavering support for academic excellence.
