Science Square’s First Phase Complete: A Mixed-Use Hub for Life Sciences and Residential Living in Atlanta

Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures (GATV) and Trammell Crow Company (TCC) have recently completed the first phase of Science Square, a mixed-use development located on 18 acres near Georgia Tech’s campus in Atlanta, Georgia. This phase includes the construction of Science Square Labs, a cutting-edge life science building, as well as The Grace, a 14-story residential tower.

The first phase of Science Square has been completed with the successful construction of Science Square Labs and The Grace Residences. This project marks an important step towards creating a hub for scientific innovation in the area. The facility is designed to provide state-of-the-art labs and clean-room space that will foster collaboration and advancement in the field of life sciences.

In addition to Science Square Labs, this phase also features The Grace Residences, a 280-unit multifamily tower that began welcoming residents in April. The Grace includes a 14-story tower and a connected six-story mid-rise building. Residents can enjoy various amenities such as a club room, an outdoor courtyard with fire pits, grilling areas, and a pool and fitness center.

With this successful completion, Science Square has taken an important step towards becoming a vibrant and dynamic community for both science and residential living. This development aims to provide modern and convenient living experiences for those looking to be close to Georgia Tech and the surrounding area while fostering scientific innovation in the process.
