RuPaul’s Drag Race Live Untucked has been renewed for a second season by World of Wonder. The show has been a massive hit with viewers since its premiere on April 17, 2024, which was the highest-rated original premiere on WOW Presents Plus since its launch in 2017. The series has attracted an impressive 18% growth in international subscribers for WOW Presents Plus in January 2024, making it a clear success.

The co-founders of World of Wonder, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, expressed their excitement about the renewal, stating that “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live Untucked is a winner, baby!” They highlighted how the show combines the ‘Untucked’ format with the Las Vegas residency, providing fans with all the thrills and chills they crave. Additionally, WOW Presents Plus continues to offer a platform for queer artists to be recognized and celebrated globally.

The upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Live Untucked is set to premiere exclusively on WOW Presents Plus in 2025. The show will once again provide viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at the Las Vegas stage show “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!”, featuring alumni from the Drag Race franchise. Season 2 will maintain the same format as Season 1, offering viewers a glimpse into the lives of the queens backstage and on the Vegas strip. The first three episodes are already available on WOW Presents Plus, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday until the season finale on May 22, 2024. The show joins WOW Presents Plus’ extensive library of original and licensed content, including the entire catalog of the global Drag Race franchise.
