North Augusta Softball Takes Home Region 4-AAAA Title with Dominant Victory over Midland Valley

North Augusta softball has secured a dominant 11-8 victory over Midland Valley to win the series and claim the Region 4-AAAA title. This success earned North Augusta a No. 1 seed and the opportunity to host their first playoff game on March 30th. Despite a lackluster offensive performance in the second game of the series, the team rebounded in the final game, scoring 11 runs on 13 hits.

Following a strong performance against Airport, North Augusta regained their momentum and secured the region championship against Midland Valley. The team’s offensive prowess has been evident throughout the season, exemplified by their consistent double-digit scoring outputs. Head coach Lindsey Jones emphasized the importance of maintaining composure and positivity during intense rival games.
