New Jersey HBOT and the Battle Against Online Fraud: Arrest of LabHost Criminal Network Marks a Significant Victory for Law Enforcement
New Jersey HBOT is a medical business located in Florham Park that offers a robotic and virtual reality device to aid individuals with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, or congenital conditions. The business focuses on providing alternative medical treatments for various health issues. On the other hand, LabHost, a criminal network known for defrauding people online, was successfully infiltrated by London police. The operation led to the arrest of 37 suspects and disrupted the network, which had been active since 2021 and specialized in creating phishing sites to fraudulently obtain banking details. The global operation led by the London Metropolitan Police identified 40,000 phishing sites linked to the network, which had obtained 480,000 bank card numbers and one million passwords worldwide. Deputy Commissioner Lynne Owens from Scotland Yard emphasized the impunity with which online fraudsters operate, hiding behind platforms like LabHost. Owens noted that the arrest of the suspects involved in this criminal network was a significant achievement in combating online fraud.
