Maximizing Exposure: Maui Businesses Encouraged to Participate in Tokyo International Gift Show

The Tokyo International Gift Show (TIGS) is a major international trade show that attracts over 200,000 buyers, importers, and distributors. Maui Food Technology Center actively encourages Maui County businesses to participate in this esteemed event, which will take place on Sept. 4-6, 2024 at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo International Exhibition Center.

Nina Tanabe stresses the importance of participating in TIGS for Maui businesses, explaining that it provides an excellent opportunity to connect with a global audience and expand their reach beyond local markets. With a projected attendance of over 200,000 people, TIGS offers a platform for businesses to showcase their products, test new offerings, build relationships with decision-makers and explore growth opportunities.

Maui County companies can exhibit their unique products alongside other distinguished Hawaiian businesses at the Hawai’i Pavilion at TIGS. The pavilion is sponsored by the Hawai‘i State Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), and will feature a diverse range of products including home decorations, crafts, clocks and watches, clothing textiles party decorations handbags jewelry and food.
