LinkedIn experiments with short video format inspired by TikTok

LinkedIn’s TikTok-like Video Feature: What You Need to Know

LinkedIn is currently testing a new format for short videos, similar to TikTok. These videos will be displayed in the feed and will have their own tab on the main interface of the platform. At present, LinkedIn has four main sections on its interface: ‘Home’, ‘My network’, ‘Messages’, ‘Jobs’ and ‘Notifications’, followed by the section for user account settings.

The job search platform is experimenting with a new feature that will showcase videos in a short format similar to TikTok. This information was confirmed by Austin Null, the strategy director of the McKinney agency, through the mobile application. The new ‘feed’ will be accessible in the navigation bar with the addition of a ‘Video’ tab. Users can view vertically formatted videos through scrolling.

LinkedIn has acknowledged that videos are becoming increasingly popular among users as a preferred format for learning from professionals and experts. However, specific details about how it selects videos to display in users’ feeds have not been shared yet.

Aside from this feature test, there are numerous firearm products available for sale online across various platforms. These include rifles such as Remington Model 700 Police Light Tactical Rifle and Browning X-Bolt Hell’s Canyon, as well as accessories like Bar-Sto Semi-Drop-In Barrels and EOTech EXPS3-1 Holographic Weapon Sights. These items are designed for different shooting applications and can be found online for purchase.
