Keeping Your Eyesight: The Power of a Healthy Diet and Lifestyle Habits

Eating a diet rich in nuts, fatty fish, eggs, colorful vegetables, and fruits can help maintain healthy eyes and slow down the aging process. Nuts like soybeans, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, and sunflower seeds are high in vitamin E and can reduce the risk of developing cataracts and age-related macular degeneration. Colorful fruits and vegetables such as mangoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and spinach contain beta-carotene which is a precursor to vitamin A and can improve night vision.
