Jonesville students engage in yearly Science and Math Night

Jonesville Students and Families Unite for Annual Science and Math Night

On April 25, William Elementary School in Jonesville hosted its annual Science and Math Night. The event drew hundreds of students and their families, who gathered to enjoy pizza and engage in various STEM activities. These activities included science, technology, engineering, and math and were set up throughout the school building with support from the community, teachers, and students in the National Honor Society.

One of the highlights of the night was the hands-on experiences provided by Camp Michindoh, where attendees got to interact with several different species of animals. This interactive station was a huge hit with everyone in attendance. Additionally, the Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams showcased their robots and coding skills during the event.

The Science and Math night aims to bring families together in an educational environment outside of the regular classroom setting. It provides an opportunity for students to explore and learn in a fun and engaging way. Over the years, this annual event has been enjoyed by thousands of Jonesville students, sparking their creativity and imagination.
