IBM’s software now accessible in over 90 countries on AWS Marketplace

IBM Expands Software Portfolio to 92 Countries through AWS Marketplace, Simplifying Purchasing and Billing Processes.

IBM has expanded its software portfolio to 92 countries through the AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog of Amazon Web Services (AWS). This expansion simplifies the purchasing and billing processes for customers in these countries, where IBM’s software was previously only accessible in Germany, France, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Furthermore, customers can now use their committed AWS spending for IBM software acquisitions.

IBM’s expanded portfolio includes 44 listings and 29 software as a service (SaaS) offerings from the watsonx platform. These offerings include technologies like watsonx.data and watsonx.ai. Other services available from IBM for these countries include Dv2 Cloud Pak for Data, Apptio, Turbonomic, Instana, and IBM Security & Sustainability, all built on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS.

In addition to its existing portfolio, IBM plans to launch 15 new professional services and IBM Consulting assets on AWS Marketplace to meet customer needs and demand. This move aligns with the company’s goal to provide a comprehensive range of services to customers in various countries.

With this expansion into new markets, IBM aims to provide more options for customers looking for cloud-based solutions that can help them streamline their operations and improve their bottom line. By making its software portfolio more accessible and affordable through AWS Marketplace, IBM is positioning itself as a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for businesses around the world.

Overall, this expansion is an exciting development for both IBM and its customers in the growing global market for cloud-based solutions. As more businesses turn to cloud technology to drive innovation and growth, it’s clear that companies like IBM are well-positioned to play a key role in shaping this future.
