Exciting Start to CAA World Congress in L.A. with Big Day Ahead

Global Sports Leaders Gather in Los Angeles for CAA World Congress of Sports

Today marks the start of the CAA World Congress of Sports at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live. The event kicked off on Monday night with a welcome reception for 250 attendees, hosted by Ticketmaster and featuring Proskauer’s Brad Ruskin, the PGA of America’s Jeff Price, USA Gymnastics’ Li Li Leung, Elevate’s Ben Gumpert and Lara Toscani Weems, USL’s Court Jeske, the USTA’s Deanne Pownall, GMR Marketing’s Todd Fischer, the Mariners’ Gina Martinez Todd, USA Fencing’s Phil Andrews, the Earthquakes’ Allison Whitson and TurnkeyZRG’s Rick Alessandri.

On Day 1 of World Congress, attendees will hear from NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, Fanatics Chair Michael Rubin and DraftKings CEO Jason Robins. The event also features WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert as well as a panel discussion on key industry issues featuring Arctos Partners’ TJ Adeshola and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment’s Kevin Demoff among others.

Prior to the event kicking off on Monday night, many attendees watched the WNBA Draft near the bar at Soho Warehouse hosted by DLA Piper. Meanwhile Innovative Partnerships Group had cocktails and dinner at San Laurel at Conrad hotel in downtown.
