Examining the Needs of Child Migrants in Family Immigration Detention: A Virtual Conversation Hosted by Harvard University’s FXB Center for Health and Human Rights

The FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University is hosting a virtual conversation on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm EDT. Registration is required to attend the event which will be held on Zoom. The discussion will focus on the key findings of the report titled “Child Migrants in Family Immigration Detention in the US: An Examination of Current Pediatric Care Standards and Practices” published in January 2024.

Speakers at the event will provide insights into the impact of the report on policy implications for the future, address legal challenges in the current climate, and emphasize the importance of increased transparency in the border security process and oversight of child-specific processes. The session will include a Q&A session for attendees to ask questions.
