Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is set to showcase its projects in the renewable and clean energy sector, smart initiatives, and efforts towards sustainable development at the World Future Energy Summit 2024. By highlighting these projects, DEWA aims to establish a more sustainable future and solidify Dubai’s position as a global future energy capital.
One of the key projects featured at DEWA’s platform is the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the largest solar energy complex in the world. With a production capacity of over 5,000 megawatts by 2030, this project contributes significantly to the UAE’s Strategic Initiative for Climate Neutrality 2050 and Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050. Visitors to the DEWA platform can explore the latest advancements in solar photovoltaic and concentrated solar energy technologies, including the innovative features of the fourth and sixth phases of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
