Science club receives Impact and Excellence Awards

Double Accolades for Super Science Club and Adventure Society at Impact and Excellence Awards

The Super Science Club was honored with the Outstanding Club or Organization of the Year award at the 2024 Impact and Excellence Awards. The ceremony took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton, and a group of a dozen club members and advisers accepted the prestigious award on stage. Club President Bryant Pepe, a third-year physics and earth science student, expressed his excitement over winning the award, stating that it felt like all their hard work had paid off. Pepe emphasized the club’s dedication to providing the best possible experience for its students and community, highlighting the impact they were able to make.

Meanwhile, Adventure Society President Ben Surosky was another winner at the Impact and Excellence Awards, receiving the award for Outstanding Club or Organization Member of the Year. Surosky, a third-year Spanish student, shared his happiness at winning the award, stating that he was grateful for the opportunity to lead the club. He expressed his satisfaction in seeing how far the club had come under his leadership. The Impact and Excellence Awards recognized over 50 students, faculty, and staff for their outstanding contributions to the college community.
