Andersen Portugal Enhances Tax and Life Sciences Expertise with Key Appointments

Andersen Portugal is thrilled to announce the appointment of two new team members, bringing a wealth of expertise in tax and life sciences. Catarina Matos has joined as the VAT Director, while Nuno Saraiva has been appointed as Of Counsel for Life Sciences.

Catarina Matos brings over 20 years of experience in VAT and indirect taxation to her new role at Andersen Portugal. In her previous role as VAT Senior Manager at EY, she led teams and provided consultancy services across various sectors, including real estate, banking, insurance, automobiles, and retail. With this extensive experience under her belt, she will be an asset to Andersen Portugal’s tax team.

Nuno Saraiva joins Andersen Portugal with more than 25 years of legal experience focused on the health sector. He previously served as Head of Legal & HR at Synlab Iberia and President of the National Association of Clinical Laboratories. His valuable insights into the industry will make him a valuable addition to Andersen Portugal’s life sciences team.
