The NFL has announced that the full 2024 schedule will be released on May 15 at 8 p.m. ET, according to a report by Sports Business Journal. This comes after previous signs had indicated that the schedule would be released next week, as reported by PFT. Teams were informed of the upcoming release date in a memo from the NFL’s executive vice president of media distribution, Hans Schroeder, on Tuesday.
Fans can expect to see the full schedule soon, although it may not be released as quickly as originally anticipated due to a delay in scheduling two games on Wednesday, December 25. Despite earlier statements from Schroeder that the league would not hold games on Christmas if it fell on a Tuesday or Wednesday, this decision required the league to select the Christmas matchups and coordinate the schedules of the four participating teams to also play on the preceding Saturday.
